    TPS (UK) Ltd was asked to be a part of a supplier rationalisation team and to provide commercial and procurement consultants.

    Our Commercial consultants read the as is contracts as soon as the team was assigned to understand how contract grouping and effectiveness by volume would work. Then they were tasked to write and negotiate new contracts for the reduced amount of vendors going forward.

    Our Procurement consultants formed a part of the team that understood the size of the vendor base, grouped the product requirements in to synergy supply and identified vendors that could take on the bigger groups of works to allow economy by scale.

    The above exercise pertained to infrastructure, stations and utilities.

  • BVT (Aircraft Carriers)

  • Colas Rail / Morgan Sindall Joint Venture

     

    TPS (UK) Ltd was asked to provide Senior Project Management support to Colas Rail Engineering to look at sustainability options across the MAFA project. One option put forward to the JV was the use of a WEBcis unit rather than independent systems for CIS, CMS, PHP and PA. This would give the Joint Venture a significant saving on both equipment and labour time for installation.
